Every year I am looking forward to the end of January. When the Moon, Venus and Neptune line up in the sky they seem to cause these amazing morning colors. I have taken many pictures over the years on that same day, but it was the most intense this morning.
Still early in the morning, I can see the fog slowly rolling in at Highview Angus Ranch giving me enough time to capture these pictures.
Another storm has swept through the Wallowa Mountains leaving only a few inches of new snow on the Lower Alder Slope outside of Enterprise.
Late November, we finally are seeing six inches of snow right before Thanksgiving. To the left is Mount Joseph, in the middle Ruby Peak. Both are part of the Wallowa Mountains in the Eagle Cap Wilderness
Ruby Peak, located in the Wallowa Mountains, is listed as the 40th highest mountain in Oregon by Oregon’s 100 Highest Peaks.
